According to DappRadar, in the last week of June, gaming accounted for 112 million, or 75%, of a total of 150 million weekly blockchain transactions (while only accounting for 0.3% of the industry's total volume in that same week). Furthermore, according to DappRadar, there were 398 active blockchain games in January 2022, up 92% from one year ago; as of April 2022, that number had jumped to 455 active games.

There is already a steady demand for Web3 games, and the interest from players and developers will only grow with time.

Web3 games have already shown that they can become super hits. A case in point is Axie Infinity's phenomenal growth. The first time a Web3 game reached such lofty heights that it became a real worldwide hit.
